🔸Syedna Zoeb bin Moosa {RA} assumed the august office of al-Dai al-Mutlaq upon the wafaat of Maulatona Hurrat al-Maleka Arwa {RA}. At that time, He was residing in the town of Hoos in Northern Yemen,
🔸Syedna Zoeb {RA}, acquired ilm from Syedna Yahya bin Lamak {RA} who in turn acquired it from His father Syedna Lamak bin Maalik {RA}. Syedna Lamak {RA}'s mentor was Syedna al-Mo'ayyad ush-Shiraazi {RA}, The Baab-ul-Abwaab of Imam Mustansir {SA}. Syedna Taher Saifuddin Aqa {RA} thus stated in a verse
The incessant flow of thy barakaat of Syedna al-Mo'ayyad ush-Shiraazi {RA} has always aided Do'at Mutlaqeen {RA}.
🔸When Syedna Yahya {RA} sought to select the most deserving for the office of al-Dai al-Mutlaq, a number of salaateen of Yemen considered themselves to be worthy of being appointed to the august office.
🔸Syedna Zoeb {RA}, however remained humble and unpretentious. His humility has been compared to that of Jabale-Toor {Mount Sinai} in the account of Nabi Moosa {SA} When Nabi Moosa {SA} expressed his wish to see Allah, all the mountains aspired for the manifestation but Toor remained humble and was thus chosen.
🔸Syedna Zoeb {RA}'s great humility rewarded him the highest position in Da'wat of Satr, that of al-Dai al-Mutlaq
🔸Syedna Zoeb {RA}, extensively studied the theological works of Da'wat and extracted their hidden treasures. He is thus described as "Farraas-ul-Kutub" Meaning Very Avid Reader Of Books
🔸Syedna Zoeb {RA}, Appointed Syedna Khattaab bin Hasan {RA} as his Maazoon Syedna Khattaab {RA} was milk brother to Maulatona Hurrat al-Maleka Arwa {RA} and the Chief of the Tribe of Hajur from Qodam in Hamdaan
🔸He authored many theological works like "Muneerat-ul-Basaair' and 'Ghayat-ul-Mawaleed and a collection of Poems that include the oft Recited eulogy in honour of Maulatona Hurrat al-Maleka Arwa {RA}
🔸During the time of Maulatona Arwa {RA}, Syedna Khattaab {RA} had to face formidable challenge from his brother Sulaiman. Sulaiman was steeped in vices and his conduct caused immense distress to Syedna Khattaab {RA} Syedna Khattaab {RA} persistently tried to Reform Sulaiman, but he was adamant in his atrocious conduct. With great reluctance, Syedna Khattaab {RA} finally went to battle against him and in of the encounters Sulaiman was killed.
🔸Later, Syedna Khattaab {RA} took the sons of Sulaiman under his care and raised and nurtured them in his house. However, upon being instigated by Sulaiman's supporters, the sons treacherously killed Syedna Khattaab {RA} in his sleep in Safar ul-Muzaffar 533H/1138AD.
🔸Syedna Zoeb {RA}, was deeply grieved at the death of Syedna Khattaab {RA} He then elevated Syedna Ibrahim bin Husain al-Haamedi {RA} to the Rank of Maazoon
Before his demise, Syedna Zoeb {RA} Publicly conferred Nass upon Syedna Ibrahim {RA}
Syedna Zoeb {RA} is buried in Hoos but the site of His qabr mubarak is unknown.
🔸During His Reign, Syedna Zoeb {RA} built a masjid in Hoos. The masjid lay in ruins for decades and was repaired and restored by the 52nd Dai Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Aqa RA. The effort was diligently overseen by the 53rd Dai Syedna Aaliqadr Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS and the masjid was formally dedicated by Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Aqa RA during his fifth visit to Yemen in 1407H/1986AD
